Lilac Blossom Photography is an all-inclusive local business focusing on you, the client.  What sets us apart from other photographers is that all sessions are done either in the comfort of your home or on location here on Long Island and in surrounding areas including Queens and NYC.  You don't need to travel to a studio or pay exorbitant travel fees for your session.  Receive personalized, professional service from start to finish. 

 

How much do sessions cost?

Pricing for sessions vary based on the type of session you're looking to book.  Family sessions start at $550 and newborn sessions start at $1000.   Please visit the portfolio tab above and look at each of the type of sessions available for pricing along with additional information about each type of session offered.

Do you offer any discounts?

All active/retired military and law enforcement families receive complimentary upgrades to our best package.  From time to time, Lilac Blossom Photography offers discounts on other sessions, but pricing is not negotiable otherwise, as it would not be fair to other clients.

When should I book a session?

Depending on the type of session you're looking for, it's recommended to book early.  There are only a limited amount of sessions available each month.  Below is a guideline for when sessions are typically booked.  Please contact us for any questions you may have or to book a session!  

• Newborn Sessions are typically booked 3-4 months in advance

• Family sessions are booked 1-2 months in advance

• Cake smash sessions are booked 1-2 months in advance

Can you replicate what I found on Pinterest?

Pinterest is a great place to start for inspiration and as long as it's in line with what I'm able to achieve, artistically speaking, I'm happy to accommodate.  First, you'd book your session.  Then we'd discuss what you were looking for in terms of props, theme, colors, etc. if they apply.  For newborn sessions, you'd choose which blankets, headbands, bows, hats, etc. you like best.  For a cake smash session, we'd discuss the theme/colors for the session and what you'd like in terms of backdrops.  For family sessions, we'd discuss the types of poses you're looking for, including location details.

How soon after the session do I get my photos?

Shortly after your session, a teaser is posted on social media including Facebook and Instagram.  You are welcome to tag, like & share those teasers with everyone you know!  Then within 2-3 weeks following your session, a gallery of professionally edited images will be emailed to you in a password-protected gallery.  From there, you'd choose which photos you'd like, based on the package you select.   Prints are also available and are mailed by USPS from a professional lab about 3 weeks after final selections are made.
